Microdermabrasion & Dermaplaning

• Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion is a controlled, mechanical removal of the superficial layers of the skin. We use a diamond-tip microdermabrasion device instead of Aluminium oxide crystals, in order to *offer our clients a smoother exfoliation and a treatment of which the depth can be controlled with ease. This treatment removes dead skin cells and therefore *improves rough, dull skin.

• Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning makes use of a specialized blade, similar to a scalpel, called a dermatome, to remove dead skin and “vellus” hair (peach fuzz). Facial skin appears smooth and radiant after a Dermaplaning treatment. Contra-indications include severe sinusitis, inflamed acne, cold sores, dermatitis, and open lesions.
